The Nikon F-801 was first released 1988, before the already legendary F4. For a short while it was the flagship of AF Nikons. It was the first SLR-camera ever to have 1/8000 s shutter speed, and the shutter speed range - from 30s to 1/8000 - was also wider than ever before available. No doubt still one of the best Nikon AF-bodies.
